With the growth in the number of laptops and mobile devices connecting to your network it is becoming incresingly likely that a user will have their own personally identifiable device to access the Internet using existing network credentials.
Overview
Blue Reef’s Active Directory (AD) pass-through authentication module provides full integration and leverages AD credentials to provide a single sign-on environment.
The pass-through authentication module can be installed on any Windows Server 2008 R2 domain controller to synchronise authenticated users with the Sonar Internet management solution enabling enforcement of Internet policy based on AD login credentials.

Managing Internet entitlement with AD pass-through is quick and easy. Additionally, AD pass-through provides a seamless, single-sign on user experience.
The AD pass-through software can be installed on one or more domain controllers. It monitors user activity, once a user logs on or off, this information is immediately synchronised with the Sonar Internet management gateway.
